Christmas Cookie Tradition

It’s finally Christmas time and that means lots of baking. In my family, we have a tradition of baking all sorts of cookies and sweet treats to snack on while we open presents on Christmas day. One of my favorite recipes is for chocolate chip cookies, which I’ve been told my great grandma’s were the best.

Chocolate Chip Cookies

1 cup White Sugar

1 cup Brown Sugar

1 cup Margarine

1 cup Cooking Oil

1 Egg

1 Tblsp. Milk

1 Teas. Vanilla

1 Teas. Cream of Tarter

1 Teas. Salt

1 Teas. Soda

½ cup Chopped Nuts

1 (12 oz.) pkg. Mini Chips

4 cups Flour

Mix in order given. Drop on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes.

I hope these chocolate chip cookies can be added to your Christmas tradition!
