I am sure most of you think you have heard enough about the global pandemic; however, all of our lives have had to change drastically in a matter of weeks and it isn’t easy for everyone. It may seem obvious, but first and foremost keep yourself safe and healthy as best you can! I will also share some tips for everyone to stay happy and healthy during social distancing.
· Find some sort of normalcy:
o If you are somewhere heavily populated and do not have many nature activities, you can even get creative at home. There are even opportunities for K-State students to take classes such as yoga via Zoom! It also helps that nowadays there are YouTube videos for everything, so find an at-home workout that works best for you.
· Spend some time outside & get creative with physical activity!
o For me, this looks like taking my pup on daily walks to make sure I get my sunshine and physical activity. However, there are many options! Even just going on a short drive with your windows down can really clear your mind. I also enjoy taking my dog on nature trails.

· Stay in touch with your loved ones:
o Luckily, in the time of social media and technology, this is not that difficult. Whether it is just messaging on Facebook, or Facetime/Zoom, it is so important to stay connected. I even taught my nana how to use Zoom!
o Also remember to check in on your friends, as this time is not easy for everyone.
· Pick up something new you’ve always wanted to try or the project you have wanted to do:
o You know that one project or DIY you have wanted to try for some time now, but just never got around to it? Yeah, we all have some of those. Now is a great time to tackle your project or pick up a new hobby that you have always wanted to try! If you need inspiration YouTube, Pinterest, and Instagram always help me.
o Examples: try a new instrument, a new art hobby like drawing or painting, start a bullet journal, jewelry making, etc. The possibilities are endless!
